Brian K. Patton
Brian was born and raised in Southwest Virginia and resides in Lebanon. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory & Henry College and his law degree from Ohio Northern University. After spending nearly two years in private practice, Brian began working as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for Russell County, Virginia.
In April, 2009, Michael Bush resigned as Commonwealth’s Attorney for Russell County to accept the position as Juvenile and Domestic Relations Judge and Brian was appointed to serve as the interim Commonwealth’s Attorney.
In November, 2009, he won the special election to complete the remainder of the unexpired term. Brian was subsequently re-elected in November, 2011, and November, 2015.
